Exclusive High Jewerly exhibition celebrated the partnership of Mamić 1970 and Damiani as two brands that share the same values, passion for excellence and a long tradition.
On October 12, the renowned company Mamić 1970 and the Italian jewelry house Damiani hosted an exclusive exhibition and dinner at the Esplanade Hotel Zagreb. On this occasion, they marked their partnership as two brands that share the same values, passion for excellence and a long tradition. The celebration also marked the beginning of the upcoming centenary of the Damiani brand, which is also one of the few international family-owned jewelry companies now under the leadership of the third generation.
In the Esplanade 1925 Lounge & Cocktail Bar, a unique High Jewelry exhibition was organized for valued guests, which brought together some of the most valuable masterpieces such as the Masterpiece pieces of the Emozioni collection, Gemma, Notte di San Lorenzo and Special Classic. A special section was also created that showed the process and materials used to handcraft Damiani’s most famous collection, Belle Époque. In addition to the High Jewelry part, guests enjoyed exploring jewels from iconic lines such as Belle Époque, D.Side, Margherita and Mimosa.
Also, through a series of storytelling panels, stories were told about the rich tradition of the Damiani family, which has been going on since 1924, top jewelry making and careful selection of materials. World stars like Eva Longoria, Gwyneth Patrol, Jennifer Aniston and Sophia Loren were also shown as celebrities who chose Damiani for the most festive moments.
Each Damiani gem summarizes the synergy between creative intuition, the use of high-quality gems and the skilful craftsmanship of master jewelers, and this incredible craftsmanship has been awarded as many as 18 international Diamonds awards, the world’s Oscar for jewelry. At the exhibition, we proudly presented the master creation Bloody Mary, which won the second international Diamonds Award in 1986. Maria Tudor inspired this opulent necklace that resembles the collar of sixteenth-century dresses. Twelve months were needed to shape the gold into waves and set 1,121 brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds to make the metal look as delicate and soft as linen.
The evening was spent in an intimate and elegant gathering while trying on impressive masterpieces and in the esteemed company of Mr Giorgio Damiani, vice president of the Damiani Group, and Mr Pero Mamić, the visionary founder of the Mamić company in 1970. After the unique exhibition, Mr. Giorgio Damiani expressed his heartfelt gratitude for unwavering support to partners and long-standing clients who continue to support their work throughout the years of existence. Hrvoje Luka Mamić, brand manager and member of the second generation of the Mamić family, joined in the thanks and expressed his pride that Mamić 1970 was the chosen partner in the Croatian market. After followed a dinner under the signature of Ana Grgić, the chef of Zinfaneld’s restaurant, during which a DJ and a violinist created an enchanting atmosphere with elegant and contemporary melodies.
