MAMIC 1970 AND ROLEX

As a proud representative and member of the Rolex family, we celebrated at the Esplanade Hotel Zagreb a great jubilee, the 40th anniversary of our partnership with Rolex, a Swiss watch manufacturer based in Geneva, which has a global reputation for excellence in quality, reliability and precision of its watches. As part of the celebration, we have inaugurated the large Rolex Daytona exhibition which has been organized for the first time in Croatia and which offered a complete insight into the story of this legendary chronograph.

Through a short video story, made specifically for this occasion, the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of Mamić 1970, started by the founder Pero Mamić with a great partnership with Rolex, thanks to flawless expertise and professionalism.

GALA DINNER

A memorable night organized for our long-standing clients and business partners, has gathered distinguished guests from economic, cultural, scientific and sport life. 

Among the prominent guests was also H.E. Mrs. Emilija Georgieva Regamey, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Croatia, to whom this was the first official event since taking over the office. Mrs. Georgieva Regamey emphasized that she was very pleased to see the successful cooperation of the family Mamic and Rolex, the backbone of the Swiss economy, which has been going on for the impressive 40 years, adding that both companies are linking the same thread, which is a striving for excellence in every segment of business.

It is a great honor and responsibility to work with Rolex throughout these years. Professionalism, responsibility, and love for work have led me through all of these years, and these are the values I am carrying onto the other team members who successfully continue to develop the family business and partnership with Rolex.

With a special gastronomic experience by Ana Grgić, the chef of the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel restaurant, our guests had also a chance to enjoy the ambient sounds of one of the most talented young Croatian musicians, Vlaho Arbulić.

ROLEX DAYTONA EXHIBITION

A special moment came when the evening moderator, actress Bojana Gregoric announced the opening of the unique Rolex Daytona exhibition dedicated to the passion for speed and motor sport that inspired the iconic chronograph.

The Rolex Daytona exhibition has been organized for the first time in Croatia to mark this special occasion and to offer a fascinating experience as a sign of gratitude for the support and loyalty to the brand over four decades.

The large Rolex Daytona exhibition was open to the public on Friday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29, 2018. TThanks to its uniqueness and attractiveness, the exhibition attracted hundreds of visitors. The watch lovers have enjoyed discovering the history of this unique chronograph and having the chance to see some of the most impressive Rolex Cosmograph Daytona models.
