Designed for both men and women, the Black Bay 32, 36 and 41 models retain the aesthetics of the Black Bay line, particularly the characteristic angular “Snowflake” hands, as well as its reliability and long-standing connection to TUDOR divers’ watches. They possess a multifunctional sporty-chic that effortlessly adapts to both formal occasions and more laid-back surroundings. TUDOR welcomed a new dial version in silver color with a radial sunburst finish, available to all sizes.
Made from a block of one of the most robust stainless steels in existence, 316L steel, this model’s case is waterproof to 150 metres (500 feet) thanks to its screw-down crown and case-back. The movement – the pinnacle of Swiss watchmaking expertise – is finely decorated despite not being visible and is adjusted to the highest chronometry standards in the watchmaking industry. The hands and black or blue lacquered or silver dials, are crafted by the most meticulous professionals in the field with applique hour markers and Swiss Super-LumiNova® phosphorescent material. Finally, the metal bracelet stands out, thanks to the quality of its design, manufacturing and finish. All these things and more come together to produce the famous TUDOR quality, a philosophy summarised by the brand’s signature, #BornToDare – always striving to do better.

Like all models in the Black Bay line, the Black Bay 32, 36 and 41 models adopt TUDOR’s characteristic angular “Snowflake” hands, which first appeared in the brand’s 1969 catalogue. The result of a subtle blend of traditional aesthetics and contemporary watchmaking, the Black Bay line is far from simply being an identical re-release of a classic. It brings together nearly 70 years of TUDOR divers’ watches, whilst at the same time being resolutely anchored in the present. Although neo-vintage in conception, its manufacturing techniques, robustness, reliability, precision and the quality of its finish exceed today’s industry standards.
Since the brand’s creation by Hans Wilsdorf in 1926, in line with his vision of the ideal timepiece, TUDOR has been ceaselessly creating watches that are as robust, durable, reliable and precise as possible. On the strength of this experience, and confident in the superior quality of its watches, TUDOR offers a five-year guarantee for all products sold from 1 January 2020 onwards. This guarantee does not require the watch to be registered or submitted to periodic checks and is transferable. All TUDOR products purchased between 1 July 2018 and 31 December 2019 will benefit from an 18-month guarantee extension, therefore a total of three and a half years. TUDOR also recommends having its watches serviced approximately every 10 years, depending on the model and daily use.
